MISSION STATEMENT FOR THE REMNANT OF BELIEVERS
(REMNANT FELLOWSHIP CHURCHES)

God is the one with the mission and Jesus Christ's life goal was "to do the will of him who sent me and to finish HIS work" (John 4:34). Jesus expressed his own motivation clearly: "the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me" (John 14:31). This love is to be first and foremost and unsurpassed since the greatest command from God is to love Him with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:28-30). Jesus Christ taught us to live for and pray for God's Kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth just as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Our whole love, and therefore our life and mission, is to follow in these footsteps of our Lord and Savior Jesus and therefore to live and pray for God's Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth just as it is in Heaven.

THE NEW JERUSALEM

Welcome to the official website of the Remnant Fellowship Churches. There are presently over 130 fellowships in 130 cities throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and the Bahamas. We are so excited that God is teaching us so much and allowing us to come before Him in humble, total obedience! We are a fellowship of believers who are so in love with God and Jesus Christ, His Son. We feel like we really get it now - we get to serve and obey God and get away from the black hole of loving self or idols. God is Sovereign and we will have no other gods in front of Him that would embarrass Him, especially not SELF.

There is so much to talk about. Where do we begin? Can we testify first that we are getting happier and more energized every day? We are all more focused on God’s Kingdom than ever before and this has brought about this incredible joy through His fellowship. We want to get together everyday -- not that we always can, but we want to! The young people and all of us are so joyful, for we have found the reason for living. We are so thrilled about a form of religion that does not deny the power of God to transform us into new creations. If you look at all the photos on this site, you will see very happy faces and it is because we are finding the joy of giving every cell of our body over to God and what He wants. Our hands do not belong to us - they belong to God. If we are to lift holy hands (separated out to serve no other god) to God, then these hands cannot feed our faces (serving us) when God has said “No”; that would be bowing down to SELF over God. God is God and we are not and this truth is the foundation of Christ’s church. It is delightful and we are all changing from one glory to another daily. Anyone who knows us cannot deny the changes.

We are finding the hope of “doing the will of the Father” in all aspects of our lives and the result has been weight loss, healed marriages, people coming off Prozac, obedient children, etc. We are telling you that hardly anyone in these photos is the same size as they used to be. But we are not too small - we obey the hunger signals that God put in us so that we are the size that God has made us. Anorexics have gained weight and bulimics do not throw up their food! Let’s talk about marriages - they are happy and many of these marriages were “on the rocks” when they came to Remnant. What about the children? We could write a book and probably will. We have never seen anything like what is happening with the children. It is so awesome to see all the children obey their parents the first time they are asked. Again, we are here to say that we have never seen anything like this before. What is God doing? There is a New Jerusalem that is in the hearts of the humble and obedient. And when we find each other - it is like we have known each other all of our lives. We are like little children before the Lord and the love is genuine. We can’t say enough.

Look again at the photos. These are joyful people - but they had to get back into the Word of God before they could come out from underneath the cloud. Jesus asked us to pray: Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Where is this Kingdom and how can you recognize it? Now read on, as it will explain why many are bogged down and drained and just barely holding onto life, instead of living the abundant life that we are experiencing in the Remnant. America is going to have to face some truths that we have ignored for a few generations - but she will be all the better for looking inward instead of projecting outward onto others. Our prayers are with you as you read more about the state of the church today.

THE SOUND OF THE TRUMPET

We know that God has led us to make sweeping and general statements concerning the state of the church and the character of church leaders and the state of the nation, and this is NOT a sin. This is what GOD wants. All the true messengers of God addressed entire nations and sweepingly addressed all religious leaders when the nation progressed to a hardened state of ever-increasing stubbornness toward the wishes of the Creator, God Almighty. America has been increasingly rebellious to God Almighty. God told Ezekiel, “Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me…” (Ezekiel 2:3a). Jesus addressed the preachers of the day with “Woe to you”. John the Baptist described any pastor who walked up to his sermons as a “brood of vipers”! He also asked them, “Who warned you of the coming wrath!” Generalization is not a sin - it is a diagnosis, and after holding Bible studies in over 100,000 churches and 66 denominations and receiving millions of phone calls and e-mails from Christians who confirm increasing sin in the church, diagnosing the state of the church and the nation is natural. We are not happy about it - and yet we refuse to remain silent. Paul commanded that we judge those inside the church. Only Satan would want you to think that you are more righteous if you do not diagnose the church for what it is. “What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. ‘Expel the wicked man from among you.’” (1 Cor. 5:12,13) Believe us, the world can see – it is just the church members who are blind to their pronounced hypocrisy.

The Apostle Peter said, “For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, ‘if it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?’” (1 Peter 4:17,18) True love is diagnosing the church correctly so that she can be treated correctly and perhaps be healed. True love is making the path clear. Hate is muddying the waters - where it is not clear and the person doesn't do what God wants - thus jeopardizing salvation with God.
